Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert Escorted Out of Beetlejuice Show for Allegedly Vaping, Singing, and Causing a Disturbance

(Denver, CO) – Republican Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert was escorted out of a performance of the musical “Beetlejuice” at the Buell Theater in Denver on Sunday night after allegedly vaping, singing, and causing a disturbance.
According to an incident report from the Buell Theater, two patrons were asked to leave the performance after several other patrons complained about their behavior. The report did not name Boebert, but two city sources confirmed to 9NEWS that she was one of the patrons who was asked to leave.
The report said that the two patrons were vaping, taking pictures, and singing along to the show, which was disruptive to other patrons. The report also said that the two patrons refused to leave the theater after being asked to do so.
Boebert has not publicly commented on the incident.
This is not the first time that Boebert has been accused of disruptive behavior. In 2021, she was removed from a House committee hearing after refusing to wear a mask. She has also been criticized for her controversial social media posts.
The incident at the Beetlejuice show has drawn criticism from some who say that Boebert’s behavior is disrespectful to the theater and to the other patrons. Others have defended Boebert, saying that she was simply enjoying the show and that she was not being disruptive.
The Buell Theater has not commented on the incident.
